In late August, the National White-Collar Crime Center (NW3C) is putting on two free cyber investigation training events. The programs being taught are CI101 STOP and CI105 CPMA – see attachments below for additional course information. These hands-on courses will be held at the Howard County Sheriff’s Office in Big Spring TX from August 22nd to the 23rd (CPMA) and the 24th to the 25th (STOP).
While all law enforcement is encouraged to apply, initial preference will be for County and District Attorney Office Investigators. Individuals who are interested in this valuable training should contact Atascosa County Attorney’s Investigator Jim Boyd at email@example.com. Seating is extremely limited to these events, and some pre-course work is required for attendance. Do not delay.
Successful participants will be eligible for 16 training hours for STOP and 14 hours for CPMA. Hours will be reported to TCOLE by TDCAA.
