The Grimes County District Attorney’s Office has an opening for an experienced Investigator.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The position is budgeted at a salary range of $52,000 - $56,000 per year, depending on experience and with the possibility of overtime. The position also includes county pension plan through TDCRS, insurance, continuing education and association memberships, a take home vehicle, holidays, vacation, and sick leave. ABOUT GRIMES COUNTY:
Grimes County (approx. pop. 28,000) is located approximately 75 miles Northwest of downtown Houston and is bordered by Brazos, Waller, Montgomery and Madison Counties. The county seat is Anderson, Texas with Navasota being the largest city (approx. pop. 8500).
ABOUT THE OFFICE:
The Grimes County District Attorney’s Office is responsible for the prosecution of all criminal cases, misdemeanor and felony, in all courts in the county (JP to District Courts) and also prosecutes their own appeals. The office does not handle juvenile prosecutions, FVPO nor represent the county in commissioner’s court. The office is comprised of the DA, 2 ADA’s, 2 Investigators and a support staff of 5.
