The Court of Criminal Appeals recently amended TRAP 25.2 and the certification of the defendant's right to appeal and added TRAP 48.4, all effective Sept. 1, 2007. Because these rules were not finalized before TDCAA went to press on its 2007-09 edition of its code books (the Court was awaiting any public comment until Sept. 1), we chose not to put a potentially non-final version of the amendments in the books themselves.
