Pursuant to the passage of HB 1141 by Rep. D. Howard (D-Austin) & Sen. Wentworth (R-San Antonio), the State Comptroller has created an updated confidentiality form that can be accessed, downloaded, filled out, and sent to one's local tax appraisal district to shield your personal information from public disclosure.

To download the form, go to www.cpa.state.tx.us and enter "50-284" in the search box at the upper right of the screen.  The completed form should be printed out and mailed or faxed to the appropriate local tax appraisal district.
