Assistant District Attorney – Civil Asset Forfeiture – Attorney III

Position:  Dallas County Assistant District Attorney – Civil Asset Forfeiture (Grade III)

Duties:  Representing the State in civil asset forfeiture litigation matters; reviewing cases submitted by law enforcement agencies; draft motions; drafting, arguing, and/or defending a full array of motions, including motions for summary judgment and other pre-trial and post-trial motion; drafting, preparing, and responding to discovery; evaluation and negotiating settlements.

Qualifications:  Graduation from accredited law school; current license to practice law in the State of Texas; member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas; 2 years and 6 months of experience practicing law; and must pass background check.

Annual Salary Range:  $92,953.08 to $104,919.84 (commensurate with qualifications and experience) plus benefits.
