WANTED: Felony Prosecutor
Location: Center, Shelby County, Texas
Salary: Starting at $110,000.00 (plus benefits) adjustment available based on experience
JOB SUMMARY
The District Attorney’s office is a fast-paced office that serves two active district courts with trial settings each year. The selected prosecutor will intake and evaluate cases, present cases to Grand Jury, work with law enforcement agencies, negotiate pleas, and try appropriate cases to jury verdicts. The chosen candidate will have immediate opportunities for trial work in either of the District Courts.
Applicants must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. The salary for this position starts at $110,000.00 and includes paid health insurance, retirement benefits through TDCRS, paid MCLE costs, paid bar dues, and membership in the Texas District and County Attorneys Association and paid Holidays.
