About the 51st and 119th District Attorneys’ Office
The 51st and 119th District Attorneys share jurisdiction within Tom Green County, while the 51st District Attorney also serves Coke, Irion, Schleicher, and Sterling Counties, and the 119th District Attorney also serves Concho and Runnels Counties. We are the only jurisdiction in the State in which two elected district attorneys share the same office, the same support staff, and the same Assistant District Attorneys. For this reason, it is imperative that we all work closely as a team in our effort to seek justice within our community and to hold defendants accountable for their conduct. Our office has always maintained a strong emphasis on family values among our prosecutors and support staff. We love what we do and we work hard to get the job done, but we also take care of each other in the process. We have a total of thirty-two employees which include twelve prosecutors, three investigators, and four victim-witness coordinators. While our office has jurisdiction over adult felony offenders, we also have jurisdiction over juvenile offenders who commit both misdemeanor and felony offenses.
